Writing Task 1 Bar Chart

Sample Answer: 

The two bar graphs (charts) compare the number of deaths caused by six diseases in Someland in 1990 with the amount of research funding allocated to each of those diseases. It can be clearly seen that the amount of research funding in many cases did not correlate with the seriousness of the disease in terms of numbers of deaths.

In 1990 there were around 0.2 million deaths from AIDS, 0.1 million deaths from leprosy, 0.3 million deaths from tropical diseases, 0.5 million deaths from diarrhoea, 0.4 million deaths from malaria and 1.8 million deaths from TB. These figures can be contrasted with the amount of funding allocated for each disease. In 1990 AIDS received 180 million dollars in research funding, leprosy 80 million dollars in research funding, tropical diseases 79 million dollars in research funding, diarrhoea 60 million dollars in research funding, malaria 50 million dollars and TB 20 million dollars in research funding.

In conclusion, it is clear that funding allocation for disease research in Someland is not wholly determined by the number of deaths for which each disease is responsible in a given year.

지금 Bar Charts가 두개 있습니다. 두개 있다고 어떻게 설명해야 하냐고 당황하실 필요 없습니다. 천천히 두개의 그래프의 연결점이 뭔지를 찾아 보시면 뭘 써야 할지 알 수 있습니다. 

첫번째 Bar Chart는 각 6개의 병을 위해 의학 연구에 할당되는 기금를 보여주고 있습니다.

두번째 Bar Chart는 1990년에 첫번째 챠트와 똑같은 6개의 질병에 의해 죽어가는 사람들의 수를 보여주고 있습니다.  

Introduction에서는 두개의 챠트가 뭘 나타내고 있고 어떻게 연결되어 있는지 써있습니다.

두번째의 단락에서는 단순하게 각 챠트의 6개의 질병을 정보를 뒷받침하에 나열했습니다. 

마지막 단락에서는 결론으로 Someland의 의학연구기금할당이 6개의 질병에 의해 죽은 사람들의 수에 전적으로 책임이 있지는 않다고 합니다. 

모든 Bar Chart가 이 샘플처럼 설명되진 않습니다. 한 가지의 예일 뿐이니 여러 챠트를 찾아 연습해 보세요.
